Gianno Caldwell

Gianno Caldwell is a TV host, a political analyst for Fox News channel, and the founder of Caldwell Strategic Consulting, a bipartisan firm in Washington, D.C., providing strategic advice and consulting in public affairs. Gianno has testified before the U.S. House of Representatives on multiple issues, including the U.S. House Judiciary committee on violent crime nationwide, and the U.S. House Ways and Means committee on Welfare reform.

Growing up on the south side of Chicago, Gianno experienced firsthand the devastating impact of crime on communities. Gianno’s first book, TAKEN FOR GRANTED: How Conservatism Can Win Back the Americans That Liberalism Failed  recounts his childhood in a neighborhood plagued by violence, poverty, and drugs, including his mother’s addiction. His story is a testament to faith, hard work, and self-determination, and he hopes it will inspire other Americans to embrace these values.

In 2022, Gianno’s brother, Christian, was tragically murdered during a drive-by shooting in Chicago. Christian was just eighteen and an innocent bystander. This profound loss inspired Gianno to establish the Caldwell Institute for Public Safety, which is dedicated to addressing the pervasive issue of crime and its impact on communities across the whole country. Through this institute, Gianno aims to develop and promote policies that enhance public safety and provide support for those affected by violent crime. Through the Caldwell Institute for Public Policy, Gianno Caldwell continues his lifelong commitment to public safety and community betterment, striving to create a safer, more just society for all.
